Virtual Painter is a powerful painting application that will allow you to transform digital photos into realistic looking paintings. This program comes with a lot of advanced tools that will let you paint over your digital photos and make them look as if you had painted them. This program has got two different painting modes. The easy one will allow you to easily paint your photos by simply clicking on a few buttons. The difficult mode will allow you to add finesse and advanced techniques to your pictures. Some of the effects this program lets you add to your pictures are watercolor, pencils, oil painting, silk screen and airbrush between others. Moreover, the program comes with sixteen different painting styles and twenty background textures to choose from, including Paper (Smooth, Medium, Rough), Pastel Paper, Stone Plaster, Wood and many more.

Virtual Painter is extremely easy-to-use. All you have to do to start editing your photos is add them by simply clicking on the open file button and browsing them directly from your computer.

The program isn't free, but if you register on the developer's website you can get a free trial version.

Guest Has the parent company all but abandoned this neat little app? I have purchased and used Virtual Painter for years now and am unable to find a working download link to the full version any longer. How does one go about getting a hard disc of the full version, or even a working link for the full version?
